3 Day Emergency Kits

or 36 Hour Emergency Supply Kits

Many people may wonder what are 3 Day Kits and why do you need them.  3 Day Kits are also known as 72- hour emergency supplies.

In a nutshell, 3 days kits are composed of all the basic emergency items listed below, in amounts that will last for 3 days.  These kits are made to help you be more comfortable and to provide for your needs if you are forced to leave the comfort of your home.

The thing that drives up the cost of 36 hour emergency kits is trying to get so many things in one bucket or bag.  In order to do this, people buy higher priced items that are more expensive because weight less or take up more space.

You can make a frugal kit by using more bags and larger items that you already own.

BELOW I HAVE LISTED THE  BASICS  EMERGENCY ITEMS THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE IN A 3 DAY KIT.   MAKE THE APPROPRIATE CHANGES TO PUT THE SAME EMERGENCY ITEMS TOGETHER FOR LESS MONEY.

Store these items in a portable container, backpack or duffle bag that is easy to carry and quick to grab.
